Jason Malli, Deborah Malli, and Catherine Cavallo will be presenting
an exhibitor showcase for Cooperman fifes at the National Flute Assn.
convention in New York City, Aug. 13-16. Their presentation will
include traditional and non-traditional fife repertoire as well as an
academic perspective on the fife in the wider context of Western
music studies and ethnomusicology. Look for a link to the handout to
be posted here after the show.

Upcoming Musters
We will have a booth at the Westbrook Muster CT (Aug 22) and at
Sudbury MA (Sept 26).

hosted the Fifes & Drums of Colonial Williamsburg for a visit to our
home town of Grafton VT in July, following their appearance at the
Ancient Mariners 50th Anniversary Muster in Old Saybrook CT. As
always, the Corps was warmly welcomed by all in town - everyone had
been excitedly anticipating the show for months.

Happy 50th Anniversary to the Ancient Mariners - and thanks for
bringing us the past half century of iconic music, outstanding
musicians, raucous entertainment, and larger than life stories -
we're all looking forward to many more years to come!
